About This Piece

One of the simplest ways to shift the energy in a room, and maybe ourselves, is to open a window and take some deep breaths. Let the air move through. Let the light in. Let whatever has been sitting too long find its way out. The air, the light and the ether come in. We get a reset. A cleanse. And we will feel a little more awake, alive and connected with the wild 'outside' that wants to enter.

Materials: Wool woven on 100% cotton, hung on Canadian soft wood dowel.

A Few Notes

• Most of the yarns are hand-dyed in small batches (not by me!). This lends to the beautiful variations and humanness of every one-of-a-kind piece that I make. This also means that even if I wanted to, I could never recreate this exact piece again.

• I have done my very best to represent the true tone of the artwork in the images provided. Also, keep in mind that life is not a backlit screen.
