About This Piece
Ā A swirling, spiralling mass of texture highlighted the quiet white surrounding scattered with tiny colour marks. It's a galaxy, a storm system, and also exactly what is in our own heart core. The white space is abundant with flecks and dashes of colour and a mix of natural textured yarns, like seeds or sparks or the electrical currents that emanate from our heart centre, our core.
Materials:Ā Variety of natural yarns, all 100% soft mohair or 100% cotton. Woven on 100% cotton hung on Canadian soft wood dowel

A Few Notes
- The fringe may enjoy a light finger combing from time-to-time to keep them inline. Enjoy that little interactive moment with your art.
- Most of the yarns are hand-dyed in small batches (not by me!). This lends to the beautiful variations and humanness of every one-of-a-kind pieces that I make. This also means that even if I wanted to, I could never recreate this exact piece again.
- I have done my bestĀ for the artwork in images that are as true to tone as possible. Also keep in mind that life is not a backlit screen.
